How long does it take for your period to become regular?

Age 14. Started 1 year ago yesterday. I think it nearly is but not quite sure. Last time there was 34 days between. Has been getting closer for months.
Answer:
It can take years for them to regulate themselves. As long as you're getting them approximately every month you're probably fine. If they're too frequent, too heavy, or you go several months without one, you should see a doctor. Even in adulthood, they won't come like clockwork, unless you're on the pill.
You may be irregular all throughout your puberty. Or perhaps only 2 years. It's different for everyone.
Sometimes as little as one year, sometimes as much three or four years. I'm 26 and from time to time, even mine shift. Usually I'm around 31-33 days. On occasion, it's closer to 35-38 days. It's a pain in the butt, but it happens. Welcome to being female.
some ppl never get theres regular, but the longer u have them the more it will become reglar, wutever r regular is. not everyones is exactly 28 days, but u cn use this as a guide. i started when i was 11 and ive always been around regular but just a little bit of stress will throw me off by a week.
Every bodies different. I was regular from the start. But it can take a couple of years for some people.

In some cases it won't exactly be a month or say 28 days apart. It's just a matter of getting to know your body.
What ever your cycle is, is probably normal for you. If you go several months without a period, a visit to your doctor may be on the agenda. But no one is going to have exactly the same cycle as you as you are an individual, the criteria for normal is just a guide line. If you're not in pain and your peroid comes regularly, don't fret. Maybe talk to your mother for extra confidence.
