The hymen only bleeds a tiny little bit when first broken... it generally doesn't bleed anymore after that. Certain girls may have bleeding on the second or third time. (particularly if the guy was large, or if he was rough with her...) but she shouldn't be bleeding from losing her virginity 4 days later.
No, it's not nromal for it to start to stop and then start to bleed more again. She prolly needs to see a doctor, but it's also possible that she just started her period.
